November - LLN KNOX

Built for This: Celebrating Our Eleventh Month in Knoxville
Eleven months of connection. Eleven months of community. Eleven months of women showing up for something bigger than themselves.
As Ladies Lifestyle Network Knoxville approaches its one-year milestone, we are reminded that the heart of this community has always been about more than events. It is about the people we bring together, the stories we share, the businesses we champion, and the causes we choose to stand behind.
This November, we are honored to present Built for This — an evening dedicated to resilience, community, and the incredible people who continue to show up for our veterans and their families.
In recognition of Veterans Day, we are proud to partner with The Rocky Top Veteran Foundation, a nonprofit committed to supporting veterans in our community. A portion of every $8 ticket sold will benefit this cause, allowing our community to come together for an evening of connection while contributing to a mission that matters.
Because supporting our veterans should never be limited to a single day on the calendar. It is about recognizing the sacrifices, challenges, and transitions that veterans and their families experience — and making sure they know they are not navigating those seasons alone.

Built for This: Resilience, Connection, and Finding Your People
At the heart of this experience is a curated panel of local leading ladies who bring wisdom, lived experience, and a passion for helping others navigate life's challenges.
We are excited to welcome Gretchen Knode, Elisa DiChristina, and Krissa Lawhorn as our expert panelists for conversations centered on resilience during hardships, setbacks and comebacks, leveraging community, and finding your people.
Life rarely unfolds exactly as we imagine. Sometimes we are called to rebuild. Sometimes we have to begin again. And sometimes the most important step forward is finding the right people to stand beside us.
These conversations are an opportunity to learn from women who understand the power of perseverance, the value of meaningful relationships, and the difference a supportive community can make when life gets difficult.
At LLN, we believe connection is more than exchanging business cards. It is creating spaces where women can be honest, learn from one another, build meaningful relationships, and leave feeling a little more equipped for whatever comes next.
That is what it means to be Built for This.
The Women and Businesses Behind the Mission
Every partner selected for this event was thoughtfully curated for a reason. We wanted to bring together women and local businesses whose dedication, generosity, and commitment to our veteran community reflect the heart of this experience.
We are proud to lock arms with these incredible local leaders:
Tammy Herndon of Liquor Vault Superstore
Theresa Smith, founder of Tech Boutique
Denise Hoyt of Athena's by Denise
Iris Chandler, founder of Ann Bakery
Krissa Lawhorn, founder of Playtime in the Plains and Playtime Pour
Erica Spiva, owner of Fly Dance Fitness Knoxville
Abby Mensonides, founder of Evermore Events,
Corinne and Sarah, founders of Galfunction, and The Hub Pro Studio
Karen Bryant, founder of The Rocky Top Veteran Foundation
Gretchen Knode, founder of Five Stones Farm and Freedom Podcast
Elisa DiChristina, founder of Raising Preteens Right, author, educator
Krissa Lawhorn, founder of Playtime in the Plains and Playtime Pour the Party Pour Experience
These are women who understand that community leadership is not simply about what we build for ourselves. It is also about what we contribute, who we lift up, and the impact we leave behind.
Their involvement represents the spirit of this event: women using their businesses, platforms, talents, and influence to support a mission that reaches beyond their own front doors.
We are especially excited to shine a light on veteran-owned businesses and the businesses that actively support veterans and their families. These stories deserve to be heard. These leaders deserve to be recognized. And these efforts deserve a community willing to show up, support their work, and help their impact grow.

More Than an Event, It's a Commitment to Community
As we approach our first anniversary in Knoxville, we are reflecting on just how much can happen when women choose to connect with intention.
Every partnership, every conversation, every woman who steps into a room willing to share her story, and every local business that says yes to supporting our mission adds another layer to the community we are building.
Our eleventh month is another reminder that meaningful impact happens when we stop operating in silos and start working together.
When we support one another, we strengthen our local economy. When we create space for honest conversations, we remind people that they are not alone. And when we come together around a cause greater than ourselves, we have the opportunity to make a difference that extends far beyond one evening.
We are incredibly grateful for the women who have trusted this mission, the businesses that continue to invest in our community, and the nonprofit leaders who dedicate their time and hearts to serving others.
To every woman joining us for Built for This: thank you for choosing connection, choosing community, and choosing to be part of something that matters.
We cannot wait to lock arms with these leading ladies, celebrate the businesses supporting our veterans, and create an evening filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and renewed perspective.
Because we are not built to do life alone.
We are Built for This — together.

Join us this November for Built for This, benefiting The Rocky Top Veteran Foundation. Tickets are $8, with a portion of each ticket sold supporting this important cause.
Come ready to connect, learn, celebrate local leadership, and help us shine a light on the people who show up for our veterans and their families.
