¡Hola Charlotte! Me llamo Andrea Orozco y estoy encantada (y con muchas expectativas) de formar parte de Latinas Lifestyle Network. Creo que es importante conectar, empoderar y contribuir con otras mujeres, estoy emocionada de compartir con otras latinas en esta increíble comunidad. Es genial poder inspirar y crecer juntas en cada oportunidad.
Nací y crecí en Nueva Jersey con mis padres Colombianos, y tuve la oportunidad de viajar a Colombia durante muchos veranos para visitar a mi familia. Me encanta viajar y en muchas ocasiones he tomado riesgos como comprar un tiquete de avión 24 hrs antes e ir a explorar nuevos destinos y culturas Creo que la vida es corta y que debemos aprovechar al máximo cada momento. Como madre de dos hijos, he tenido la suerte de viajar a países como Grecia e Islandia, creando con ellos recuerdos que no tienen precio.
Durante los últimos 13 años, he trabajado como enfermera registrada en diversas áreas de la salud. Recientemente, he hecho la transición al campo de la estética y he descubierto que me gusta mucho porque es gratificante y satisfactorio. Cuando no estoy trabajando, me gusta pasar tiempo con amigos, tomar café, visitar nuevos restaurantes, comer pizza, y escuchar reggaeton.

Hola Charlotte my name is Andrea Orozco and I'm thrilled (and nervous) to be a part of the Latinas Lifestyle Network. I believe it's important to connect, empower, and give back to other women, and I'm excited to contribute to other Latinas in this amazing community. It is great to be able to inspire and grow together at every opportunity.

I was born and raised in NJ by my Colombian parents, and I had the opportunity to travel to Colombia every other summer to visit my family. As an avid traveler, I've been known to spontaneously buy plane tickets and embark on new adventures. I believe that life is short, and we should make the most of every moment. As a mom of two boys, I've been fortunate enough to travel to countries such as Greece and Iceland, creating priceless memories with them.

For the past 13 years, I've worked as a registered nurse in various areas of healthcare. Recently, I've transitioned into the aesthetic field and have found it to be both rewarding and fulfilling. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with friends, sipping coffee, trying new restaurants, indulging in pizza, and listening to reggaeton.

Mi nombre es Maryate, pero puedes llamarme Mary. Soy de Guerrero, México, pero he vivido en los EE.UU. desde que tenía 3 años de edad. He llamado a Carolina del Norte mi hogar durante la mayor parte de mi vida, más de 25 años. Me encanta mi pequeña ciudad de Kannapolis. No hay nada como tener una comunidad unida en la que conoces a todo el mundo. Cuando no estoy trabajando duro en mi spa Amaté Skinesthetics ayudando a mis clientes a sentirse seguros de su piel, o usando mis habilidades de flebotomía para extraer sangre, me puedes encontrar en casa con mi hija y nuestra chihuahua Vaquita. También pasó tiempo con mis amigas, yendo a diferentes eventos locales o simplemente pasando el rato en una cafetería poniéndonos al día de todas las cosas que hemos estado haciendo durante toda la semana. Estoy agradecida de tener a mi familia cerca y me siento afortunada de poder verlos a menudo. Estoy deseando ver todos los eventos que vamos a organizar y a todas las mujeres increíbles que voy a conocer.

It feels like everything that I've been through has gotten me ready to empower, impact, and help my fellow Latinas. I feel so blessed and grateful to be able to be a part of the LLN Community.

My name is Maryate, but you can call me Mary. I'm from Guerrero, Mexico but I've lived in the USA since I was 3 years old. I have called North Carolina home for the better part of my life, over 25 years. I love my small town of Kannapolis. There's nothing like having a close-knit community where you know everyone. When I'm not hard at work at my spa Amaté Skinesthetics helping my clients feel confident in their skin, or using my phlebotomy skills to draw blood, you can find me at home with my daughter and our chihuahua Vaquita. I also spend time with my friends going to different local events or just hanging out at a coffee shop catching up on all the things we've been doing throughout the week. I'm thankful to have my family nearby and feel fortunate that I can see them often. I'm looking forward to all the events we will be hosting and all the amazing women I will be meeting.
