HOTWORX is a virtual instructor-led exercise program that uses a patented sauna that combines heat, infrared, and exercise, which they call “3D Training”.
You can experience the infrared heat absorption while doing either a 30-minute Isometric workout or a 15-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session, like rowing.
It's a sweat like no other, in my experience!

The owner of Hotworx Indian Land and Fort Mill SC, Becky Conneen, was the sponsor for our August event, and she shared some very insightful information about this fitness experience.
About Their "3D Training"
Heat
Raises your core body temperature and speeds up metabolism
When your core body temperature rises, there is an anabolic effect that speeds up your metabolism. Another heated workout advantage is that less time is required for warm-ups in a heated studio.
Infrared Energy
Activates and strengthens the regenerative process in the human body
Infrared energy has the effect of strengthening and activating the regenerative processes in the human body. This is why workouts in an infrared energy environment can help to accelerate workout recovery.
Exercise
Increases your heart rate and maximizes calorie burn
Two forms of exercise work very well inside the HOTWORX infrared sauna- Isometrics and HIIT. With isometrics, a variety of methods can be used, such as yoga and pilates. With HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), a short 15-minute routine with a cycle or row will provide just the right amount of workout results when combined with heat and infrared energy.

As the infrared heat penetrates your body, causing you to sweat, the isometric postures further accelerate detoxification by physically removing the toxins from your organs through muscle contraction.
Workouts
Isometric Workouts:
Hot Isometrics: a sequence of foundational isometric postures borrowing from athletic resistance training, yoga, and Pilates. It helps center you while developing a strong foundation and gives you a full-body workout while you strengthen and tone your muscles!
Hot Yoga: athletic posture sequence using foundational postures, a balancing sequence using static holds, and ends with core conditioning.
Hot Pilates: core and yoga style postures all rolled into one for a challenging workout to fire up your core while focusing on the principles of Pilates: centering, concentration, control, precision, breath, and flow.
Hot Warrior: The most advanced isometric workout with more challenging power isometric holds that test your balance and core strength to the ultimate level.
Hot Core: Focused abdominal, hip, and lower back work and ends with infrared self-myofascial release and deep tissue massage with the use of a foam roller.
Hot Buns: An intense isometric glute workout uses two types of resistance bands, a small loop for use around the knees and legs, and a large loop for squat and plank postures.
Hot Bands: This class uses resistance bands for a total-body workout that tones your shoulders and arms through a combination of isometrics and slow dynamic reps with the band as resistance.
Hot Barre None: This workout guides you through postures derived from ballet and slow dynamic reps to help you develop long, lean, and sexy muscles. You’ll notice a butt lift and great legs with the consistency of this workout.
Hot Stretch: is a one-of-a-kind stretching session based on a pro-athlete version of stretching and adapted for general fitness. It will increase flexibility and pliability for muscle and joint longevity, while giving you incredible results and leaving you feeling completely rejuvenated!
HIIT Workouts
Hot Cycle: 15-minute HIIT session as a high-intensity bike ride, high-energy cardio workout on a Schwinn indoor bike inside the infrared sauna.
Hot Thunder: 15-minute HIIT session that is the world’s first water row workout of its kind (360 handle swivel, double pulley system, and dual water tank) on the patented Thunder Row machine, exclusive to HOTWORX. This emphasizes your back, biceps, triceps, shoulders, core, and hip flexors.
Hot Blast: 15-minute HIIT Session designed to “blast” your upper body and lower body on the Keiser Total Body Trainer that gives you a full body workout. This machine is a combination of an indoor cycle and upper body push and pull with levers.
