SWFL March Event Recap

On March 26th, women from across Southwest Florida gathered at Oasis Outdoors for an evening of connection, conversation, and a topic that doesn't get discussed nearly enough.

Our featured speaker, PassionPam, Your Intimacy Coach, led us through an honest and empowering conversation titled:

Beyond Physical: The Emotional Side of Intimacy No One Talks About

When most people hear the word intimacy, they immediately think of relationships and physical connection.

But throughout the evening, Pam challenged us to think deeper.

Because intimacy isn't just about how we connect with others.

It's also about how we connect with ourselves.

With over 20 years of experience in sexual wellness and more than 30 years of relationship insight, PassionPam brought her signature blend of education, humor, and authenticity to the conversation. She created a safe and welcoming environment where women could reflect, laugh, learn, and engage in discussions that are often left unspoken.

One of the most powerful themes of the evening was the idea that intimacy is actually a leadership skill.

The relationship we have with ourselves influences every area of our lives—from our confidence and communication to the way we show up at work, in our businesses, in our families, and in our relationships.

Pam encouraged attendees to consider questions many of us rarely stop to ask:

  • How connected am I to myself?

  • How is my current connection at home affecting my confidence publicly?

  • Am I truly aware of the thoughts and beliefs shaping the way I show up in the world?

One particularly impactful story shared by Pam was the moment she realized she had been living unconsciously to many of her own thoughts and patterns. It served as a reminder that self-awareness is often the first step toward meaningful change.

Throughout the evening, attendees were reminded that communication, curiosity, and emotional presence are often the foundation of deeper connection.

When we feel connected within ourselves, we show up differently everywhere else.

Supporting Dress for Success SW Florida

We were also honored to highlight Dress for Success SW Florida as our featured non-profit.

Represented by Laura Aldana, attendees learned about the incredible work the organization is doing to help women achieve economic independence through professional attire, career development resources, mentorship, and ongoing support.

Since 2010, Dress for Success SW Florida has served more than 5,000 women throughout Southwest Florida, helping many single mothers and women facing significant challenges gain the confidence, tools, and support needed to build sustainable careers and brighter futures.

Their mission aligns beautifully with our own belief that when women are supported, empowered, and given opportunities to grow, entire families and communities benefit.

Community, Connection, and Local Support

As always, one of the best parts of the evening was the opportunity to support and connect with local businesses and fellow attendees.

A special thank you to:

We also want to thank Chop It Up Sandwiches for once again providing incredible food and keeping our guests fueled with their famously generous sandwiches.

And of course, thank you to Oasis Outdoors for hosting us and providing a beautiful space for meaningful conversations and connection.

They really are an incredible event venue and store. For those of you who don't know, they sell top quality teak furniture that is gorgeous and I need all of. But as a venue, their commitment to making sure your event is everything you want it to be and more is unmatched. Truly thankful for them and they continue to blow us away.

Looking Back

Some conversations teach us something new.

Others remind us of something we already knew but needed to hear again.

This evening reminded us that confidence, connection, and communication all begin within. The way we speak to ourselves, understand ourselves, and care for ourselves impacts every relationship and opportunity that follows.

Thank you to every woman who joined us for this special evening. We are grateful to continue creating spaces where women can learn, grow, connect, and support one another.

We can't wait to see you at the next event. ~Kayla
