August Event Recap: "Unleash Your Gifts" at Hopsized Brewing 🍻✨

It just keeps getting better!

Our August event at Hopsized Brewing Co. was packed with fresh faces, powerful stories, incredible vendors, and the kind of energy you carry with you long after the evening ends. From the first hello to the last hug, the night was overflowing with connection, encouragement, and more than a few laughs.

🌸 Our Featured Vendors

We were thrilled to welcome both familiar favorites and exciting new businesses into our community this month!

• AniLyn Boutique – Our community regular and one of our biggest supporters, Anisha showed up (as always!) with her stunning accessories and fashion pieces. She was a busy bee from the moment she set up, with women flocking to her table. She continues to inspire us with not only her style but also her trust in this community.

• Chicology – A brand-new face to LLN, Chicology brought modern, chic, and oh-so-cute fashion. Their light, trendy pieces were a hit with the ladies.

• 4Ever Young Naples – Their mission says it all: “Dedicated to helping their patients recover their youthful energy so they can enjoy life again!” Guests loved connecting with their team and learning more about the amazing services they provide to keep you feeling your best.

• Style Luxe Activewear – Owned by Nancy Timo, this line of activewear is designed for comfort and style. I personally snagged a pair of their All-Day Comfort Joggers that night… let’s just say they may be my new favorite pants! Perfect for home, errands, or the gym.

🎤 Our Speaker: Diana “Dee” Taveras

Where do we even begin with Dee?

She was captivating, hilarious, and completely relatable. With humor, authenticity, and a whole lot of wisdom, Dee brought resources we could apply immediately to our lives and businesses. She lit a fire in the room, teaching us to step into our gifts with confidence and passion.

Her Edna-from-The-Incredibles story had us in stitches, and her lighthearted but powerful delivery kept everyone hanging on her every word. Time flew by, and honestly, we could have listened for hours. Dee didn’t just speak to us, she connected with us — and that’s what made her presence so unforgettable.

Honestly, I think every woman walked away feeling both inspired and equipped to take action.

💕A Hand for Our Featured Non-Profit: ATS

We were also honored to feature our non-profit partner, Ascend SWFL (ATS). Their mission is to create community opportunities through lifelong home and community services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

From home-based care to community support, ATS empowers individuals to live fun, active, and independent lives while being fully embraced by their community. Founders Bridget and Rick’s passion for inclusion and advocacy shines through everything they do, and we were so proud to give our stage to such a meaningful organization making a real impact in Southwest Florida.

🍴 Food, Venue & Photography

A huge thank you to our venue sponsor, Hopsized Brewing Co. — they not only gave us a gorgeous space to gather, but the owners themselves made a surprise appearance (which always makes the night extra special!).

We also had Pilar’s Empanadas Argentinas serving up delicious eats, including gluten-free options, and they were a hit!

And of course, none of these memories would be captured without the talented Amanda Feltz Photography. Amanda has a gift for catching the candid moments that make our nights so memorable. She works quietly (sometimes like a stealthy ninja 😅) and delivers photos that bring the event back to life every time. Truly, Amanda makes it effortless.

🎁 Swag, Giveaways & Sponsors

Our swag bags and giveaways are always a highlight — and this month’s lineup was incredible thanks to our amazing vendors, Kayla Parkinson Coaching, and Blooms and Bottles Mobile Bar.

Our SWFL Relax & Refresh Guide Sponsor, Maja Head Spa, stole the show with their Bougie Staycation Giveaway (valued at $150) — an hour of pure bliss. Stephanie, the owner, joined us as a guest and instantly became part of the family. She later shared:

“… last night was special. The moment I entered, I was greeted by warmth and kindness. I learned a lot more than I anticipated and I met so many smart, interesting, and talented women.”

We couldn’t agree more, and we’re beyond excited for the goodies Maja Head Spa will be adding to our September swag bags!

Every month, I leave these events completely blown away — not just by the speakers or vendors, but by the community. It’s the mix of:

• “So nice to meet you!”

• “I’m so glad to see you again!”

• “Wait… you run that?! I love that place!”

It’s the support, collaboration, and connections that fill the room. Each event, the fire shines brighter in our ladies — standing in their power, being brave and curious, putting themselves out there, and going after what they believe in.

Ladies, I am so proud of you. 💪 You are the reason this community is what it is. Let’s keep growing, supporting, and making that difference together.
