The holidays have a way of slowing us down—if we let them. Maybe it’s the glow of the lights or the way the air feels softer when you finally pause long enough to notice it. That’s what Backroads & Backporches is all about—taking a moment to breathe, reflect, and see the beauty that’s been there all along.

That same heartbeat runs through my upcoming book, Backroads & Backporches: The Road Back to Me, which I hope to release by February 1st, 2026. It’s a deeply personal journey through faith, healing, and the messy, beautiful process of finding your way home to yourself. One of my favorite lines from the book says:
