Deal or No Deal! The Success of an Arranged Marriage

This may not be your typical February love story, but it is an intriguing one!  Join us to hear Vidya share her own experience of having an arranged marriage and the lessons that it delivered. This is a candid conversation about these lessons that have had a profound impact on both her personal and professional life.    

Vidya Moorthy is the Founder of Austin-based Clural LLC and Asia-based Bassett Education India, two professional development and communication consulting firms. She is a boundary-crossing strategist and has been a senior communication executive on both sides of the globe. In Austin she serves clients in both the corporate and education sectors and serves on multiple boards. An alumnus of Michigan State University, she is a proud mother of two stunning young women and a tiring lab.

Our featured non-profit will be American Heart Association. Carrie Kass, our Director of Ladies Lifestyle Network here in Austin, is nominated as a Woman of Impact for the National Go Red Campaign. Carrie will share her "why", and the AHA will share some staggering stats on women's heart health.
